What can you expect at Lichtgolf in Ostend?
During this unique experience, you’ll discover the maritime story of the city, told by a young beachcomber carrying the soul of a fisherman in her pocket. A magical light spectacle for families, locals and visitors by the sea.
7 Light Installations: Walk past seven impressive light artworks spread across the city, each with its own atmosphere and story.
Audio Story via Headset: Rent a headset for €8 at the starting point and immerse yourself in the accompanying audio story that draws you into a world of sea, light and imagination.
Open Daily: The light walk is open every day between 16:30 and 21:00. A new time slot starts every 15 minutes, with the last one at 21:00. The route closes at 22:30.
Walk at Your Own Pace: The total route is 3.8 km long and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. You decide your pace.
Start and End Point: Begin your adventure at the information office of Tourism Ostend (Monacoplein 2) and finish at the enchanting James Ensor House, where you also return your headset.
