What can you expect at the Flower Clock?
- A clock made of flowers: The clock is laid out with thousands of flowers and plants, making it a colourful sight in every season.
- A special history: The idea was inspired by the discovery of the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus, who noticed that flowers open and close at fixed times.
- At this location since 1963: The current Flower Clock has been in the Leopold Park since 1963. Earlier versions were lost during the Second World War or had to make way for increasing car traffic.
- Date adjusted daily: In the summer months, the date displayed in flowers is updated every day, which makes the clock even more special.
